New Lands is similar to the original game, Kingdom: Classic, in terms of a monarch trying to establish a long-lasting kingdom while being attacked by otherworldly monsters. On the other hand, we have Kingdom New Lands, a kingdom-building sim developed by two very talented individuals, Thomas van den Berg and Marco Bancale, and support from publisher Raw Fury. Even if it’s not as scary as The Dark Descent, A Machine for Pigs is still something horror fans should look out for. The game’s protagonist is Oswald Mandus, a wealthy industrialist and butcher who is implied to be the great grand-nephew of Daniel, the protagonist of The Dark Descent. It’s Set in London on New Year’s Eve, 1899.

The game’s an indirect sequel to Amnesia: The Dark Descent. Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs is a survival horror video game developed by The Chinese Room and published by Frictional Games.
